I have been lucky to paint on so many amazing Theatre shows, TV sets and exhibitions. I can’t include them all.
I have done a variety of different jobs over the years, some large, some very small. Each job has had it’s own challenges, some of which I describe in the information below the photographs. I often get to learn a new technique or try something new which is always rewarding (in the end!)!

Hubba Bubba Advert (2006) – I painted the sky. This was one of the biggest tests of my career. I confidently said I could do this with little experience! I did it…

I painted these Cogs for ‘The Wild Place’ Zoo in Bristol. They are all made out of wood but painted to look metallic. I loved working on these as I learnt a new technique using Latex to create the ‘worn off paint’ look.

This was a beautiful little job I did years ago. Painting the little planets was so enjoyable.

This was a recent job to paint a miniature bunker to look like slightly aged concrete. It was only two meters by 1 meter so the detail all needed to be to scale. It also needed to be subtle and realistic.

This was a make and paint prop from scratch. I had a foam cut out shield shape, a wooden back board and wooden ring. I added the Lions the line details then textured and painted it to look like stone. I love jobs like this that challenge the mind in a different way.

Here is the final shield in position at the live location.

This was a random request to make the fireplace set look like it had had an out of control fire. It didn’t involve any paint in the end, just a blowtorch and lots of water!!

I painted these life sized Lobsters for a ‘Quido Co’ advert. Using arcylic paint and a gloss glaze I managed to get a very realistic look.

London Science Museum ‘Wallace and Grommit Exhibition’ (2010) – This was a great job. Painting life sized Wallace and Grommit rooms and props after working on small sets in Animation for a few years. This was great fun! I think this was the most bricks I have every painted on one job!

Most Haunted (2008) – I painted the columns in this amazing old psychiatric hospital in Morcambe to look like the rest of the old building. Lovely peely paint!

Life sized Rhino (2008) – A very random but enjoyable job painting this to go in somebody’s garden!

Butlins 2019

‘The Adam’s Family’ theatre set. A bit morbid but really enjoyable to paint the spooky gravestones.

Bristol Old Vic ‘Little Mermaid Set’ (2013) – This was a beautiful thing to paint. I also helped in the making of this life sized clam shell. What a lovely job it was.

Bakery sign for TV series ‘Trollied’ (2013). I took up saying I can sign write after this! I am quite good at it now…

‘We the Curious’ planetarium waiting area glow in the dark mural. This is one of many fantastic shapes I was commissioned to paint on the waves with UV paint.
